Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-04

Welcome to ssyncc. These Terms of Service govern your use of the ssyncc service. The service is operated by Syndicast Ltd (United Kingdom โ€” details in the Legal Notice). By registering, creating an account, or using any part of the service, you accept these terms.

1. The service

ssyncc is a web application that lets podcasts, radio shows, and radio stations create customised landing pages for themselves. The service includes the admin interface (ssyncc.com and subdomains) as well as the public pages you publish.

2. Audio content โ€” important statement

ssyncc is solely a metadata aggregation and presentation platform. We do not store, host, or transmit audio content (podcast episodes, radio streams):

  • Podcasts: we reference the RSS feed URL you provide. Episodes are served directly to listeners by the feed host's server (Anchor, Megaphone, Buzzsprout, Spreaker, Libsyn, etc.).
  • Live radio streams: you provide a URL pointing at your own Icecast/Shoutcast (or similar) server. The stream runs on the broadcaster's own infrastructure. ssyncc only reads now-playing metadata.
  • YouTube videos: iframe embeds only โ€” the video is served by YouTube.

ssyncc is therefore a frame / UI / directory layer. Accordingly, content responsibility rests with the user.

3. Your responsibilities

By registering and using the service, you agree that:

  • all content you attach to your ssyncc page (RSS URLs, stream URLs, images, text, channel lists) is yours, or you use it under a valid permission/licence;
  • you respect third-party copyright, trademark, and personality rights;
  • the RSS feed and stream URLs you provide are valid and point to content you are entitled to distribute;
  • you comply with the terms of the platforms you use (e.g. Apple Podcasts feed specification, Spotify for Podcasters terms, etc.);
  • you do not upload false, deceptive, or harmful content.

4. Prohibited content and use

You must not use the service to:

  • publish illegal, hateful, or violence-inciting content;
  • publish content that endangers minors;
  • send spam, run scams, distribute malware;
  • infringe other people's personality rights or privacy;
  • abuse ssyncc's infrastructure (DDoS, mass scraping, automated account creation).

For serious or repeated breaches, we may immediately delete the account and content.

5. Account and security

You are responsible for your password and all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us. One user may create multiple pages. Team functionality is included in the Business tier.

6. Plans and pricing

ssyncc is available at Free, Pro, and Business tiers (details in the pricing section on the home page). Prices are in EUR, exclusive of VAT (B2B service), unless required otherwise by law. Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually with auto-renewal. You can cancel any time from the account settings โ€” you keep access until the end of the paid period; partial refunds are not provided.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may also terminate the service if:

  • you breach these terms;
  • your payment is overdue by more than 30 days;
  • required by law;
  • with 30 days' notice without cause (in justified cases).

8. Copyright complaints (DMCA / takedown)

Because we do not host audio, complaints typically concern a link or an embed. To file a complaint, email hello@ssyncc.com and include:

  • identification of the infringed work (rights holder, work title, ideally a reference URL);
  • the URL of the offending content on the ssyncc site;
  • your contact details (name, address, email);
  • a statement that you are entitled to file the complaint;
  • the 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c)(3) clause (for DMCA notices).

We respond to lawful complaints within 7 business days. Abusive complaints are subject to legal action.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". We will use reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for:

  • service outages of third parties (RSS host, stream provider, YouTube, Spotify, etc.);
  • the content or function of URLs you provide;
  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profit, reputational harm) โ€” except where the law disallows such exclusion.

Our maximum total liability is capped at the fees paid for the service over the preceding 12 months.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. internet outage, data centre incident, natural disaster, government action).

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer law mandates a different forum.

12. Changes

We may amend these terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

13. Contact
